The present invention relates to a method for producing a single cell-derived induced pluripotent stem cell from a spontaneously immortalized cell. Also, the present invention relates to a spontaneously immortalized somatic cell- and single cell-derived induced pluripotent stem cell produced by the method. The single cell-derived induced pluripotent stem cell produced according to the present invention can be effectively reprogrammed due to spontaneous immortalization, and exhibits homogeneous properties by being derived from a single cell, and therefor is expected to be utilized as a stable cell therapeutic agent.
