The present invention relates to a tilt ratchet structure for a steering system capable of improving the operation feeling in the event of a teeth locking phenomenon and preventing a pop-up phenomenon, comprising: a tilt bracket (100) which supports a steering column (10) and has tilt holes on both sides thereof; a fixed gear (110) which is integrally fixed on one side of the tilt bracket (100) and is provided with first and second gear parts (112, 114) on right and left outer sides thereof; a tilt bolt (150) which is coupled through the tilt holes of the tilt bracket (100); a movable gear (230) which is engageable with the fixed gear (110) by means of third and fourth gear parts (232, 234) formed in the right and left edge portions on the surface opposite to the fixed gear (110) on one side thereof; and a fixation member (250) which is fastened to the end of the tilt bolt (150) to prevent the movable gear (230) from deviating, wherein the fixed gear (110) is formed in a manner whereby one side of the tilt bracket (100) is cut out and bent outward so that one side of the bottoms of the first and second gear parts (112, 114) is integrally coupled to the tilt bracket (100) and a cutout slit is formed between the other side of the bottoms of the first and second gear parts and the tilt bracket (100).
